Weekend Tasting Room Associate Honeywood Winery – Salem, OR
Honeywood Winery, Oregon’s oldest continuously operating winery, is looking for friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals to join our tasting room team!
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking someone who enjoys engaging with people, has a positive attitude, and thrives in a guest-focused and welcoming environment. We're looking for a dependable team member to provide weekend and fill-in support, helping cover shifts and assisting during busy times. Previous experience in hospitality or wine is a plus, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve guests in the tasting room
- Pour wine and provide product knowledge in a fun, approachable way
- Operate the POS/register system
- Provide an excellent level of customer service
- Restock, clean, and maintain the tasting room environment
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
- Assist with packaging and fulfilling orders
- Support wine club operations and special events
- Attend staff meetings and occasional training sessions
- Lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must hold or be able to obtain an OLCC Server Permit and Food Handler’s Card
- Available to work weekends and occasional holidays
- Customer service or retail/hospitality experience preferred
- Willingness to learn and grow with the team
- Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, & special events
- Able to lift and carry 40 lbs, and stand for up to 8 hours
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Team-oriented, dependable, and personable
Schedule:
- Tasting Room Hours: Mon–Fri 10am–5pm, Sat–Sun 11am–5pm
- Weekend shifts required
- Flexible scheduling: full-time or part-time options available
