Summary of Duties:
- This individual is a Subject Matter Expert in the field of molecular modeling and classical molecular dynamic simulations of organic materials. They will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the manufacturing focused R&D efforts performed by the Computational Materials team in the organic condensed matter and polymeric materials area
- The individual can work without supervision including independent action and decision making
- Modeling and simulation of properties and manufacturing processes for organic materials via classical molecular dynamics, Monte Carlo, first-principles, and CALPHAD techniques
- Development and implementation of new codes and algorithms for material property calculations
- Interface with internal KCNSC customers, Design Agency Partners, and external collaborators
- Drive collaboration with Product Realization Teams to identify needs and develop solutions
- Stay current with relevant emerging technology and trends
