The Commercial Senior Financial Analyst role at Honeywell is an exciting opportunity to join a team of commercial finance professionals in the Gas Analytics Americas, a SPS GBE. You will directly report to the HGAS Americas Finance Director and this position plays a critical role in providing financial reporting, forecasts, and analysis across the Electrical Safety and First Responder lines of businesses within the HGAS GBE. This role involves frequent interface and coordination with HGAS Finance and non-finance functions.
As a Senior Analyst in the Gas Analytics Finance team, you will be a key participant in managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes. You will assess financial performance and implement finance strategies to achieve the committed business goals. You will support Honeywell business leaders driving key finance initiatives and decisions. You will meet and interact with various levels of the organization, including business/product line leaders, customer business teams, and Strategic Business Unit (SBU) CFO’s.
Job Activities:
- Partner with business teams to drive financial performance for both P&L and Working Capital
- Drive the detailed development of the AOP and formal financial forecasts
- Perform variance analysis interpreting the impact of the business results against monthly, quarterly, and annual plan/forecast
- Present monthly financial results to leadership
- Develop new and enhance existing analysis/models to understand, predict, and enhance business performance
- Co-lead the Short Range Outlook (SRO) process including forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and leadership reviews
- Lead projects to implement process changes for improved business profitability and speed
- Frequent interfaces with senior leadership on key deliverables and coordination across multiple functions to execute
- Drive compliance, accurate balance sheet, and enhance internal controls
