Senior Director, Global Workplace & User Computing
Position
Overview:
The
Senior Director, Global Workplace & User Computing will be responsible for executing
a Comprehensive Global Workplace Computer Lifecyle end to end Strategy; defining,
executing, and maturing a comprehensive strategy that defines Global standards for all computer
needs related to system management, end-point-management, policy management, image
development, software patching, and PC Lifecycle, including definition of
hardware standards.
You
will partner with various leaders across IT and multiple Business Units in a
complex and Global Environment to establish governance, design and development,
and service delivery and operational practices to enable and continuously
improve all aspects of the Honeywell’s User Computing services.
This
position will report to the VP Global IT Workplace Support Services and will
primarily be responsible for the transformation and service management of the Honeywell
PC environment.
Job Duties:
Lead and develop a Global team to manage and support all internal technology needs related to system management, end-point management, software patching, and PC Lifecycle, including definition of hardware standards.
Define Global standards for computers and mobile devices.
Experience managing Microsoft System Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM and Intune) or similar Enterprise solutions.
Managed tools for Digital Experience Management
Global Enterprise level management of PC Lifecycle initiatives
Continue the maturity of new services such as Mac as a service and UEM.
Automating processes using available User Computing technologies
Design, develop, implement, and coordinate IT policies and procedures for system management, software and hardware asset management and PC lifecycle.
Identify business Use Cases that could be resolved by the implementation of solutions using our existing system management tools and end user experience systems.
Work with 3rd parties involved in the supply chain process of computers and software to streamline the procurement and provisioning process.
Considerable knowledge of the preparation and presentation of dashboards / reports containing project delivery elements and operating metrics.
Exceptional leadership, relationship development and
influencing skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret critical path, draw conclusions,
and prepare clear and concise analyses and recommendations.

Ensures that the organization is driving automation and lean processes into the delivery of User Computing services.
Partner with leaders across IT to ensure end to end management of the Computing environment.
Engages with cross-functional teams to prioritize and integrate process development and maturation, ensuring that the right talent is engaged and utilized at the appropriate level in order to achieve successful service delivery outcomes.
Lead the culture of continuous improvement by identifying projects, initiatives & getting the customer or leadership engagement and deliver them
Producing regular and accurate service management reports and dashboards for IT Delivery leadership team
Provide oversight on the project management & operations for managing the ITSM Platform
Lead the relationship with multiple product vendors including ServiceNow and BMC Remedy
Define the service delivery expectations from professional services vendors & lead the governance around it
Manage internal customer relationship with leaders across the technology organization
Manage the Capital & Expense budgets for the ITSM team
Partner with vendor management teams on vendor selection and ongoing vendor governance
