We’re hiring a Global Compensation leader (Senior Director) for our Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT) business located in Atlanta, GA!
The successful candidate (you) will own global business unit compensation strategy and execution for this global entity within Honeywell. Leveraging your compensation expertise and significant corporate leadership experience (especially in a matrixed multinational), you’ll be a key member of the Global Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Center of Excellence (COE) and the HBT Human Resources leadership teams.
You’ll work closely with and report to our VP of Global Compensation and Benefits, while partnering directly with HBT business leaders and HR both locally and across the globe to provide functional expertise, creative C&B solutions, flexible pay strategies, market intelligence and analytics for informed decision making, aligned with Honeywell’s growth strategy.
An expert at
managing sometimes complex relationships in a heavily matrixed global corporate
environment, you’ll be front and center for a variety of motivational
initiatives around the world and will be a key driver in rewarding success in
impactful and times even innovative ways. You’ll have a strong eye for details,
impeccable timing and communication skills, and an innovative and strategic
mindset.
Key
responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvement to develop highly efficient compensation processes
- Deliver C&B support to foster a high-performance culture at Honeywell
- Partner with our business leaders, teaching them about the tools which C&B enables them to engage, including making sure they fully understand our total reward structure including full compensation plans, policies, and initiatives
- Design, administer, and communicate Honeywell’s compensation plans, benefit plans, and reward programs across the HBT business
- Ensure the consistent application of our pay philosophy, align market cost competitiveness, and drive the pay for performance culture
- Build and develop the C&B functional capabilities
- Partner and collaborate with the HR and business teams empowering their success
- Drive and successfully implement high priority projects, annual compensation cycles, and corporate initiated projects
- Develop and execute changes to improve efficiency and make our processes easier
- Establish clear, specific, and time-bound plans to support business needs
- Create and implement C&B strategies related to business growth (M&A, new markets, special initiatives and stretch efforts)
- Understand business problems, determine the C&B implications, then create strategies and plans to mobilize resources to get results
- Equip business leaders and HR with knowledge, skill and capability around core C&B plans and processes
