Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT) specializes in the service of critical building systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), building automation, fire, security, and energy management.
In this role you will be responsible for leading Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) and other cross-functional planning activities for Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT). This role will be dedicated to support the Global Building Management Systems (BMS) business. This position reports to the HBT Global Sales, Inventory, & Operations Planning (SIOP) Leader with matrix reporting to President of the BMS business and to the VP of Operations, in the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Global BMS SIOP organization and develop, implement, standardize, and drive end-to-end SIOP processes and activities
- Work internally with Planners, Analysts, and HBT Leadership to ensure end-to-end integration of SIOP plans that translate into on-time material delivery
- Develop, track, analyze, and manage project and procurement plans and schedules
- Work across multiple functions to ensure full horizontal and vertical integration of plans and schedules
- Implement and maintain a continuously improving SIOP process including Portfolio, Demand, and Supply Reviews,
- Reconciliation, and Executive SIOP (CEO) reviews
- Maintain an effective schedule of SIOP activities that identify and, as necessary, escalate risks to execute HBT business plans across both the short and mid-long term
- Work with a team of SIOP Planners to develop a highly efficient, result oriented, and motivated SIOP organization
- Lead and develop best practices for Demand Forecasting and Planning, Supply Planning, and Production Planning
- Work with and manage a global team of diverse Demand, Supply, and Production Planners and drive key business metrics to increase overall efficiency and standardization of SIOP processes
- Identify and implement global best practices to optimize HBT performance and ensure alignment with Corporate Center of Excellence (COE) standards and initiatives
- Develop and drive SIOP culture with the help of analytical tools and automation
- Collaborate with financial and commercial leaders to ensure alignment on business objectives that SIOP will translate to executable plans and actions
- Responsible for SIOP Metrics, SIOP Maturity, and SIOP Effectiveness Scorecard performance, management, and improvement
- Ensure full integration of forecasts and plans for all global regions
- Ensure on-time part deliveries for and from internal and external Suppliers
- Develop and execute plans using existing Business Systems (Kinaxis Rapid Response, SAP)
- Implement new techniques on demand and supply forecasting to improve forecast accuracy, past due / backlog projection accuracy, inventory projections, and other KPI’s
- Works closely with Business Operations team in providing Demand & Supply highlights. In parallel, work closely with Global SIOP Leaders & Global Supply Chain Leaders of HBT in shaping the SIOP Cycle.
- Identify and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to drive positive business results
- Act as a key point of contact for Honeywell Functional Teams, Business Leaders, and for Internal and External Suppliers and stakeholders
- Recommend and drive continuous process improvements and ensure cross-functional integration and communication
- Manage Inventory levels to meet or exceed established targets
- Provide recurring Executive-level briefings
- This is a high visibility role that will interact with Senior Executive-level Leadership and lead a team of direct reports.
