Honeywell is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Manager to join its growing team for the establishment and maintenance of product security assurance (SwA) practices within Honeywell Global Security. This position resides within the organization that supports Aerospace business and owns secure development of embedded systems and applications.
He or she will be responsible for using their advanced knowledge of cyber security engineering along with continuous delivery cyber processes and tools to take ownership and successfully enable delivery of secure aerospace products through repeatable and automated mechanisms.

- Manage a team of security architects and engineers to support security development lifecycle activities, security reviews and governance activities for commercial and defense portfolios.
- Optimize team allocation to maximize individual development opportunities while ensuring that milestone target dates are achieved or exceeded.
- Hire/develop new staff personal, provide managerial coaching and facilitate their career growth.
- Be a key interface with engineering customers, facilitate onboarding of new NPI programs and ensure completion of security activities and approvals.
- Own the management of security development lifecycle (SDL) activities including security requirements definition, threat modelling, security scans, and residual risk assessments, etc.
- Collaborate with assurance testing organization and ensure close tie out for all NPI programs.
- Collaborate with the process leads to ensure a robust SDL governance process and develop KPIs to measure progress against defined targets.
- Leverage the team and the peer group that consists of senior security architects, governance, product security leads, product development quality engineering and certification authorities to ensure both internal and external customers are receiving adequate guidance and support.
- Facilitate program management leadership for all critical security incidents and ensure satisfactory completion of all activities in collaboration with engineering as appropriate.
- Leverage your deep understanding of SDL and various touchpoints where the security process integrates into product development lifecycle and drive continuous improvement activities to define, measure, visualize and improve key cyber security metrics.
