Key Responsibilities:
· Play a key role in payroll related projects
· Research US, PR, and Canadian tax issues and determine outcomes quickly to improve processes
· Year-end project activities including testing, W2 balancing, file validation, and release
· Processing of W-2 Corrections and Reissues
· Comply with tax updates and required legislation changes
· Ability to calculate pay for multi-State payroll and payroll taxes
· Ability to connect experiences, observations, and other tidbits of information to see patterns and draw conclusions not readily apparent to others
· Daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations activities as needed
· Quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts
· Monitor Salesforce activity and provide timely resolution of customer requests and/or problems within SLA
· Use Salesforce and PeopleSoft data to provide proactive problem resolution to eliminate process defects
· Make sound decisions and recommendations based on balanced consideration of facts, priorities, resources, constraints, and alternatives
· Take responsibility for any task taken on or assigned and take pride in the work done
· Develop internal documentation
· Act as a change agent with customers to drive change and improve processes
· Ability to navigate and learn multiple systems
· Cross train team members and act as Subject Matter Expert
