Work with business leaders, business analysts and technical team members to validate business requirements and assure alignment to global design models. You will be part of the Honeywell Manufacturing / Quality CoE Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) team focused on Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). You will provide inputs to Honeywell IT strategy, provide functional oversight on multiple projects to assure the analysis, design, implementation and testing of applications are done in a highly effective way, using appropriate tools and methods. You oversee and assure system design and configuration are executed efficiently and correctly with our system integrator partners. You support technical skill building to enable complex system deployments and optimum performance including hyper care.
As a Site IT Champion, individual will be the face of CORP IT at the site interfacing with Site leadership and their teams. This is an amazing opportunity to learn about the overall site IT and its challenges.
The scope of work for site IT champion will be:
As an onsite IT Champion, you’ll be part of Site weekly Staff meetings and in constant connection to strengthen the ISC – IT relationships
Enhance & Deliver IT Communications to the Site leadership and Train Site teams on IT Processes
Support in keeping Site IT related Documentation live
Problem solving with Triaging IT experts from various streams
Supporting IT initiatives/ programs targeted for the site
Key Responsibilities
· Align applications across projects and setup gold standards
· Help design and drive a Global Design Model (GDM)
· Drive MES solution design and optimization
· Gather and confirm functional and technical requirements
· Review functional specification documents
· Interface MES with 3rd party applications (ERP, LIMS, Equipment Calibration, Maintenance Systems, PLM, SCADA systems and IIOT)
· Build application expertise
· Cross-org design reviews
· Validate system configuration
· Manage technical escalations
· Configuration management
· Review value of applications
· Co-ordinate all offshore project activities
· Required travel 25-50% depending on projects
