Be responsible for supporting mechanical design and test activities on a variety of projects and programs. As a Mechanical Engineer II in the Fan & Compressor design group, you will use your knowledge of engineering discipline and standards, processes and tools to support our engine programs and Advanced Technology projects. You will be responsible for helping to support our Fan and Compressor analysis and test activities while helping to support production and our hardware in the field. You may collaborate with external customers and will help to develop and define engineering processes in your area of expertise. You may participate in development of new business opportunities and product lines.
Key Responsibilities -
· Mechanical design/analysis and testing (rig/engine)
· Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS APDL/Workbench preferred) of rotating components
· Experience with modal analysis/Campbell Diagrams/Goodman Diagrams
· Design optimization
