Summary:
The Technical Learning Specialist assists with the administration, design, development, delivery, implementation, and evaluation of training programs to effectively develop employees across the organization and maximize productivity.
Summary of Duties:
- Develops and facilitates technical training programs
- Establishes and maintains training project requirements
- Determines development and implementation schedules, requirements, and budgets
- Assists management and the customer in complex technical or operational improvement functions and processes
- Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, presents and evaluates training courses using a wide range of development tools and platforms
- Assists in the development of metrics to conduct performance assessments subsequent to training
- Evaluates existing training programs for effectiveness, recommends improvements, and assesses effectiveness of improvements
- Acts as a project manager for learning and development projects
- Coordinates with training vendors as needed
- Coordinates training logistics including scheduling, invitations, materials, and roster management
- Works with subject matter experts to incorporate creative training techniques into learning programs
