The propulsion engine control team has immediate need for a technical leader who will ensure fuel system requirements and features are technically sound and will meet the evolving needs of our customers. We are looking for an experienced fuel system engineer seeking long-term technical and leadership growth in our team. As a lead fuel system engineer, you will be responsible for the development and integration of turbine engine fuel systems. You will serve as a technical focal point, a mentor to less experienced engineers, and a consultant to leadership on technical matters related to the fuel system requirements and features. The right candidate has a passion to contribute elegant solutions to complex systems and who is driven to contribute to new and existing Honeywell products.
Key Responsibilities
· Disciplined requirements-based engineering of the fuel control system requirements, including:
o Requirements analysis
o Requirements decomposition
o Requirements validation and verification
o Change management
· Technical leadership and contributions to:
o System requirement development
o Fuel control system and component requirement development
o Fuel control hardware component design
· Effective coordination and communication with:
o Multi-disciplinary requirements and design teams
o Systems engineering teams
o Project management organizations
o Internal customers
· Strategic re-use of requirements and features across multiple programs
