Support the on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems. You typically work under direct supervision and may work without supervision. You will follow detailed work instruction and escalate any discrepancies in customer requirements, blue prints, or work instructions. You will identify, escalate, and explore opportunities to improve the installation or repair procedures. You will escalate any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will support the training of the customer on proper usage for complex systems.

The Field Outreach Specialist will support outreach efforts and project planning/coordination for a utility demand response (DR) program. Through participation in an DR Program, customers temporarily reduce their energy use during periods of critical grid stability when electricity supplies are constrained. By participating, customers earn incentive payments through the reduction of electrical peak demand.

Key Responsibilities
- Research customer base to identify good candidates for program
- Establish contact with customers to explain program benefits
- Work directly with customers to schedule installation
- Overcome customer objectives and concerns
- Work with customer throughout project implementation to answer questions and help work any issues that arise
- Develop, update and maintain project tracking milestones.
- Strong work ethic, with ability to self-manage daily work schedule and performance, with limited supervision
