Summary:

We are seeking an engineer with electrical component failure analysis experience to work in the Component Failure Analysis Laboratory to perform a variety of basic to advanced tests, processes, and procedures, which require the selection and application of routine to complex electrical component failure analysis technologies. The primary responsibility of this position is routine and non-routine analytical techniques to support production, development, and research. The engineer should be familiar with construction and fabrication of semiconductor devices and printed circuit boards. Hands-on experience using diagnostic equipment to run electrical tests on semiconductor devices, with the ability to provide technical solutions to complex problems is desired.

This position requires a strong desire to perform hands-on analyses and will be responsible for assisting other scientists, engineers, and technicians with a variety of day-to-day recurring tasks. The successful candidate will have a strong customer-service focus, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers who have limited knowledge of electrical component failure analysis. A willingness to work either as an independent investigator or as a member of a multi-disciplinary cross-functional team, depending on the nature of the situation; and the ability to generate accurate and precise analytical data, interpret data, prepare formal reports and make formal presentations of results, conclusions and recommendations.
