Be part of a senior engineering management team, developing and implementing processes and products to sustain Honeywell's growth in the marketplace. You will lead, develop, and motivate a talented engineering team responsible for the development of Honeywell's Gas Analysis and Safety. You will leverage your technical experience and skills to guide the team in the investigation and solution of challenging technical problems. Leveraging your technical leadership abilities to motivate and energize teams that are designing new or modifying existing products, parts, or processes while using advanced standards, methodologies, and tools. By collaborating with customers, cross functional teams and broader engineering teams, you will guide the team and drive exceptional team performance with a high impact on the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Influence & challenge engineering teams to effectively develop NPI ideas
- Establish the right processes to optimize the efficiency of the engineering functions.
- Lead key New Product Development with responsibility for defining offering, scope, & resources required to deliver, and driving Technology Advancement, Platforming, Design and Systems Integration
- Collaboration with multiple stakeholders across line of business to drive the execution of the new product introductions.
- Advise and drive Technology Roadmap.
- Understand emerging technologies and identify opportunities for new offerings in context of competitive landscape.
- Drive ideation and down select ideas for research in partnership with offering management to find differentiated solutions.
- Engage with HON Fellows community and participate in HON Transformative Technologies program as SME for Industrial Safety
- Identify and pursue opportunities for cross business collaboration
