In this role, you will serve as Assistant General Counsel – Digital Transformation and Compliance for HCE based in Atlanta, Georgia. This role covers three key areas: (i) lead HCE legal digital transformation journey helping to put in place core operational systems and drive automation and digitization across the legal function as we scale and grow; (ii) lead HCE compliance strategy and drive compliance program initiatives; and (iii) enable M&A and strategic x-HCE transactions.
Core Job Duties:
- Define the HCE wide digital transformation and legal operations strategy and drive functional transformation putting in place core legal processes, automation and digitization (including relating to contracts, compliance, IP, M&A, litigation etc. and deploying KPIs / metrics) project managing key business transformation and corporate initiatives
- Drive effective contract management tools and processes including deploying a common contracting framework for all of HCE’s business units that enables deal velocity, data visibility and data driven negotiation
- Lead all compliance activities across HCE for import/export, FCPA, code of conduct, sales agents, sanctions, denied parties, investigations, corporate governance and legal entities and tax partnering with global Honeywell Corporate functions
- Enable M&A transactions including driving due diligence analysis and overseeing integrations
- Execute complex strategic transactions across a range of areas including (i) software, SaaS, PaaS, APIs, data analytics and related integration and support services; and (ii) strategic partnerships and JVs.
