The position requires a Development Engineering background with the experience and capabilities necessary to successfully carry out the responsibilities listed below. The preferred candidate will demonstrate a strong proficiency in software engineering and development. The position encompasses the skills needed to meet objectives of product quality, schedule and design goals for a complex development program.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop complex software deliverables using Windows technologies following iterative software development process.
- Independently develops design approach using detailed requirements
- Participate in team membership through strong interaction, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
- Manages individual risks/issues and elevates to upper management when appropriate.
- Adhere to and supports process methodologies.
- Support the planning of future activities with System Engineering to develop detailed work estimates.
- Provide product maintenance support with problem mitigation.
- Maintain close interaction with System Engineering by providing consultation support as necessary
- Support System test activities through the development life cycle
