As a Product Management and Training Specialist Fixed Gas and Flame Detection here at Honeywell, you will be instrumental in assisting in the management of product lifecycles and delivering expert training programs that empower our customers and sales teams with deep knowledge of fixed gas and flame detection solutions. Your role focuses on product strategy, market analysis, and the development of training materials that enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
You will report directly to the Director Portfolio Management for the Fixed Gas & Flame detection line of business, and you’ll work out of our Lincolnshire, IL or Houston, Texas location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the success of Honeywell Industrial Automation’s Fixed gas and flame detection product lines by ensuring that both internal teams and customers are well-informed and proficient in the use of these critical safety technologies, thereby enhancing safety, sustainability, and productivity for our clients.

The annual base salary range for this position is $88,000.00 - $110,000.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE
- 5 years of experience in product management, sales, commercial or training within the industrial automation or safety instrumentation sectors.
- Strong expertise in fixed gas and flame detection technologies, including knowledge of industry standards and application environments.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver technical training programs that enhance product understanding and customer engagement.
- Experience with market analysis, competitive positioning, and product lifecycle management in a technology-driven environment.
- Familiarity with relevant tools and software for product management and training development.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 7 years of relevant experience in product management, sales, commercial and technical training within industrial automation or safety industries.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities to drive product success and training effectiveness.
- Excellent leadership and collaboration skills to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Innovative mindset with a willingness to embrace new technologies and methodologies.
