Lead BAS Controls Technician – Orlando, FL and surrounding areas

Key Responsibilities:
- Commission and optimize Honeywell BAS systems, installing software, performing system checkouts, and ensuring performance meets spec.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues; adjust, re-engineer, or redesign as needed.
- Execute open protocol integrations (BACnet, Modbus, OPC, LON).
- Improve commissioning efficiency using Honeywell Operating System tools and wireless commissioning technologies.
- Maintain scope integrity and support change orders when needed.
- Follow configuration management standards including backups and final archiving (ADEPT).
- Coordinate closely with GCs, mechanical contractors, trades, customers, and engineering teams on scope, hardware, software, graphics, and as-builts.
- Support sales and PM teams with site surveys, application recommendations, retrofit opportunities, and solution presentations.
- Complete hazard/risk assessments and maintain compliance documentation.
- Travel 25–50% within region.
