What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Test Engineer position at Honeywell?
As an Advanced Test Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for developing and executing advanced testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our aerospace products. You will leverage your technical expertise to drive innovation and enhance testing methodologies, contributing to the success of our cutting-edge technologies.
You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Program Manager, and you’ll work out of our Urbana, OH location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our aircraft lighting products through rigorous testing methodologies. You will lead and contribute to all aspects of product testing, from initial design verification to ongoing production monitoring, including product qualification testing, production testing, HALT/HASS, test equipment design and build, project management, design for test guidance, and test coverage analysis.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality aircraft lighting products.
