Qualifications
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and lead a team of IT architects and senior planners, providing mentorship and guidance in developing and maintaining our technology architecture.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute high-level IT architecture strategies aligned with our business objectives, pushing the envelope on innovation.
- Shape the planning and implementation of technology solutions, ensuring they meet scalability, security, and compliance standards while remaining at the forefront of industry best practices.
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based systems to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in a proactive manner to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage virtualization resources, including provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
- Execute regular patching of systems to maintain security compliance and system stability.
- Identify and resolve technical issues across the infrastructure, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime.
- Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
- Contribute to GitHub projects, enhancing existing automation processes and tools.
- Collaborate with team members to integrate automation solutions into operational workflows.
- Design and implement cloud architecture solutions that meet business needs and align with industry best practices.
- Lead architectural reviews and participate in design sessions, ensuring that solutions are well-documented and conform to architectural standards.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, making recommendations for improvements.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on architectural best practices and methodologies.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to advise on potential impacts on the business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud strategies and ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies and tools to enhance our cloud infrastructure and services.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- 3 years of experience in IT architecture planning, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Experience with cloud architecture, deployment, and management tools.
- In-depth knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba) and automation tools such as GitHub Actions, Ansible, and Tanium.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, security, and data management.
- Advanced degrees in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with IT architecture tools and software, such as Enterprise Architect or MEGA.
- Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation initiatives.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
