The annual base salary range for this position is $93,600.00 - $116,800.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

THE BUSINESS UNIT
Mechanical Systems & Components provides a wide range of mechanical products and value-adding services to Honeywell Aerospace customers, including aircraft manufacturers and operators, and agencies of the U.S. government. The business develops and manufactures air and thermal systems, mechanical components, and wheels and braking systems. It also manages and operates facilities for the Federal government. Every 5 seconds, an aircraft lands with Honeywell Wheels and brakes. The entire fleet of U.S military fighters and trainers use Honeywell Cabin Pressure Systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate hardware components and systems to meet product specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration and production readiness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware design issues throughout the development lifecycle to improve product performance and reliability.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- 2 or more years of experience in hardware design and development, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and hardware validation.
- 2 or more years of knowledge of electronic components, circuit design, and hardware testing methodologies.
- Proficiency with hardware design tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or similar EDA software, and experience with simulation tools and test equipment.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to hardware development.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Experience in embedded systems hardware design and development
- Knowledge of signal integrity, power management, and thermal analysis
- Experience with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
