Reporting to the VP of Logistics, the Director of Logistics Trade Operations, owns trade-related and trade-impactful logistics operations across the Aerospace value chain, including transaction lifecycle, supply chain logistics, and regulatory compliance. You will develop compliant process and collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to streamline order fulfillment, mitigating financial risk, and ensure efficient cross-border execution. With a global footprint, this role requires import and export compliance as well as tariff expertise.
You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Operations, Warehouse, Legal, Tax, Finance, IT, etc.) to deploy future-ready solutions, including systems, operational, and FTZ advancements, analytics/automation, and process standardization while ensuring compliance and driving a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

- Upgrade and stabilize the end-to-end transaction lifecycle—from trade capture, order entry, and confirmation, through to shipping and settlement.
- Provide strategic oversight for external partner engagements, including 3PLs, freight forwarders, and specialty distributors.
- Define, develop, and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to improve trade operations efficiency and visibility.
- Utilize data analytics to inform stakeholders on trading risk.
- Future state: drive technological enhancements, automation, and digital capabilities to modernize trading platforms within the context of logistics, and scale business growth.
- Influence adherence to global import/export regulations, customs compliance, and domestic regulatory requirements.
You Must Have
- Experience: 8–10 years of progressive leadership experience in trade management, global supply chain, or transaction settlement operations.\
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with advanced trade analytics, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and supply chain management software.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of U.S. importer/exporter obligations, FAA and DOD/partner government requirements, international financial transaction frameworks.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead by influence, negotiate with partners and vendors, and communicate complex data to senior leadership.
- Education: Advanced degree (J.D., MBA, or Master’s in related field).
- License/Certification: Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) preferred but not required.
