This is a day shift position (5:00 am to 1:30 pm)
- Perform mechanical assembly, cleaning, bead blasting, deburring, and final inspection on glass-to-metal seal and cover manufacturing lines.
- Load and unload parts from furnaces and ovens.
- Use microscopes to build and inspect parts.
- Use calipers and mechanical instruments to take measurements.
- Understand and follow assembly drawings, written, and verbal work instructions.
- Do basic math and apply it to specifications.
- Work with supervisors and engineers to ensure flow of production and report issues that affect the product quality and equipment performance
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to use small hand-tools such as tweezers and microscope
- Basic computer skills for documenting defects and time charging
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license)
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated
- Must be able to work in a team environment and participate in problem solving when process and quality issues come up
