We are looking for a warm, articulate, and customer-focused Seasonal Sales Associate to join our team during the holiday season. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys connecting with customers, learning about their needs, recommending products, and helping create a memorable shopping experiences.

The Ideal candidate is positive, dependable, enthusiastic, and comfortable working as part of a busy team. You should be able to move quickly, stay organized, communicate clearly, and bring genuine warmth and energy to every customer interaction.

Duties

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process customer transactions.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving any issues.
• Assist in merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and ensuring shelves are stocked.
• Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
• Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store displays.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and basic math calculations.
• Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance on best practices in customer service and sales techniques.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when answering calls related to store inquiries or customer support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred.
• Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Experience in stocking merchandise and maintaining inventory levels.
