Job Summary: Pull, inspect and remove flashing from each blow mold bottle as it is produced. Pack bottles into empty, erected cases and then palletize. Complete daily run of orders needed for production in an efficient manner. Report food safety and quality issues to supervision/management.
Package newly made bottles:
1. Pull and remove flashing from each new bottle as it is produced.
2. Inspect bottles for defects.
3. Place into empty cases.
4. Load filled cases onto pallets.
Identify any production-related issues as they arise.
Keep packer stations clean and free from plastic scrap and bottles.
Assist the Plastics Operators with machine set-up and related duties as required.
Erect cases for the bottling room per daily production schedule.
Maintain a clean work station including warehouse 4.
Wrap KD’s before taking them to the warehouse.
Take KD’s and packaging material to the bottling lines when production calls for it.
Put an identification tag on all skids taken to the warehouse.
Make sure all skids removed from the bottling room are identified, counted and wrapped.
Fill in for the bottling room when needed.
This is a second shift position working from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Weekly Bonus checks may be awarded based on performance.
Pay rate increases up to $17.25/hour after satisfactorily completing 90-days of employment based on meeting or exceeding performance expectations with regard to safety, attendance, quality, and production.
Perfect attendance bonus paid weekly.
