What are the responsibilities and job description for the Afterschool Counselor - 32 hours/week position at Honey Creek Community School?
Provide a safe, nurturing, fun, and educational environment from 3-6pm after school for students in grades K-8. Responsibilities include supervision, activity planning, snack preparation and clean up, prevention and mediation of conflicts, and communicating with parents.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma and must pass a criminal history background check. Preference will be given to those with child care experience and those certified in or studying education, social work, or another child-related field.
Pay rate ranges from $18 to $19.25 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
