Customer Service & Sales Representative (Custom Wedding Bands)
Full-Time | Hybrid, 3 days on-site in Morrison, CO | $18 to $22 per hour
About Honest Hands Ring Co.
We are a custom wedding band manufacturer in Morrison, Colorado. Every ring is made by hand in our workshop, often with materials most jewelers will not touch: wood, stone, meteorite, fossil, and antler. Our team is small, hands-on, and has grown every single year since we started. You will work alongside the people who actually machine, inlay, and finish the rings you talk to customers about.
The Role
You are the first person most customers hear from. Most of them are buying a wedding band, which means they are excited, a little nervous, and working against a date that cannot move. Your job is to make that experience smooth and reassuring, and to help them land on a ring they will wear for decades.
This is a customer service role with a real sales component. You are not cold calling. You are helping people who already want a ring from us figure out which one.
You will report to our Customer Service and Sales Manager and join a small, fast-growing team where everyone is expected to own their work. If you want to be good at something and be surrounded by people who care about being good at it too, you will like it here.
What You'll Do
- Respond to customer inquiries across email, Shopify, Etsy, and our help desk
- Guide customers through the custom design process: materials, finishes, sizing, and engraving
- Provide accurate order status, production timelines, and shipping updates
- Handle returns, exchanges, resizes, and warranty questions
- Follow up post-purchase and help grow our review base
- Support the shop floor as needed with packaging, inventory counts, and local pickups
- Flag recurring customer issues so we can fix the root cause, not just the ticket
What We're Looking For
- Strong written communication. Most of this job is writing clearly and warmly under a bit of time pressure.
- Comfort guiding someone to a decision without pushing them
- Patience and genuine care. People are spending real money on something emotional.
- Organized and self-directed. We will not be checking your inbox for you.
- Previous customer service or e-commerce experience, ideally with Gorgias, Zendesk, Shopify, or ShipStation
- Reliable transportation to our Morrison workshop
Jewelry experience is not required. We train people from scratch and would rather have the right attitude than the right resume.
Schedule and Compensation
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- $18 to $22 per hour depending on experience
- Two weeks paid vacation
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days on-site in Morrison, remaining days remote once you are fully trained. You will be fully on-site during your first several weeks while you learn our process, materials, and systems.
- Some weekend coverage required. Weekend hours can typically be worked remotely.
