Position Overview:
As an Automotive Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, both in person and over the phone. Your role is crucial in creating a positive first impression and ensuring smooth operations within our dealership. You will handle a variety of administrative and customer service tasks, supporting both our sales and service departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate department or personnel.
- Process customer transactions and handle cash or credit card payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Assist with administrative tasks.
- Provide information about dealership services, promotions, and vehicle inventory.
- Coordinate with service and sales departments to ensure customer needs are met efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in office administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in an automotive setting.
- Must have the ability to work Wednesday through Friday 3PM-8PM and Saturday's 8AM-5PM.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with dealership management software is a plus.
- A professional appearance and a positive attitude.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required for this position.
