Homeyer Precision Manufacturing is seeking an experienced NC Programmer to join our growing team. We manufacture precision-machined components for the aerospace, space, defense, semiconductor, and industrial markets, where quality, accuracy, and problem-solving are critical.

What You'll Do
- Create, develop, and optimize CNC programs using Siemens NX CAM
- Program complex 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling operations
- Analyze customer drawings, CAD models, GD&T, and specifications to determine machining strategy
- Select tooling, cutting parameters, machining sequences, and workholding solutions
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Machining teams to ensure efficient production
- Develop setup documentation, tooling lists, operation sheets, and process instructions
- Support first article production and troubleshoot machining issues on the shop floor
- Improve existing programs to reduce cycle time, improve tool life, and increase productivity
- Implement programming-related corrective actions for nonconforming parts
- Assist in fixture design and manufacturing process improvements
- Document in-process inspection requirements and manufacturing processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing and 5S
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Manufacturing Engineering or NC Programming experience
- Minimum 1 year programming CNC mills in a production environment
- Strong experience with Siemens NX CAM
- Thorough understanding of GD&T
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models
- Knowledge of multi-axis machining strategies
- Strong understanding of machining fundamentals including tooling, feeds, speeds, workholding, and cutting tool selection
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with machinists, engineers, and quality personnel
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience programming 5-axis CNC machining centers
- Manufacturing Process Engineering experience
- Experience designing fixtures and workholding
- Experience with Zoller tool presetting systems
- Technical degree or vocational training in Manufacturing, CNC Programming, or Engineering Technology

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
