Job Description
The CNC Programmer plays a crucial role in manufacturing precision aerospace components by developing, validating, and refining CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining. This position collaborates closely with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure programs meet aerospace specifications, quality standards, and production objectives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and excels in a fast-paced, continuous improvement environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and improve CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining.
- Ensure CNC programs align with aerospace specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to meet production goals.
- Troubleshoot and optimize programs on Fanuc, Mazak, and Okuma controllers.
- Create and maintain work instructions and check sheets.
- Design and follow process control plans, routings, and work instructions.
- Work with 3D models and comprehend aircraft drawings and aerospace specifications.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience programming 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines for aerospace components.
- Strong proficiency in Siemens NX (Unigraphics/NX) for CNC programming.
- Experience with manual CNC programming.
- Hands-on experience with program verification.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize programs on Fanuc, Mazak, and Okuma controllers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to comprehend, create, and maintain work instructions and check sheets.
- Experience creating and working with 3D models.
- Ability to read and understand aircraft drawings and aerospace specifications.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 7 AM, with an 8-hour shift. There is flexibility in start times, and the typical workweek is between 40-45 hours.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
