We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented part-time Housekeeper Guest Room Attendants to join our dedicated housekeeping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including beds, bathrooms, floors, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures
- Vacuum carpets and perform floor care to maintain a pristine appearance
- Manage heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or large items with proper manual handling techniques
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas and replenish supplies as needed
- Follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure safety during all cleaning activities
- Use janitorial equipment effectively to deliver high-quality sanitation standards
Experience
- Prior hotel housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of floor cleaning, chemical handling, and sanitation practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, or extractors is a plus
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing
- Experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial roles is beneficial but not mandatory
