Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Guest Service Representative to join our team at a hotel. The GSR plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during all hours, providing exceptional customer service while managing financial transactions and guest relations. This position requires strong and excellent communication skills, particularly in guest interactions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare daily reports summarizing hotel operations, including occupancy rates, revenue, and any discrepancies.
- Provide outstanding customer service to guests during check-in and check-out processes, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Maintain effective communication with other departments to ensure seamless operations throughout the night.
- Manage phone systems efficiently, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while handling guest calls and requests.
- Assist guests with reservations, billing inquiries, and any special requests to enhance their stay experience.
- Ensure the security of the hotel by monitoring access points and responding to any incidents as necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality role is preferred, particularly in front desk operations within a resort or hotel setting.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. .
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- A solid understanding of hospitality management principles will be beneficial for success in this role.
