Are you a driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships, winning new business, and making an impact? Homewood Suites by Hilton Lafayette-Airport is seeking an energetic Director of Sales to lead the hotel's sales efforts and continue growing our presence in the Lafayette market.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently while partnering with an experienced hotel leadership team to drive occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Develop new corporate, group, government, and extended stay business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community partners.
- Conduct outside sales calls, networking events, and client meetings.
- Respond to RFPs and sales inquiries while managing accounts from prospecting through production.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and Revenue Management to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
- Represent the hotel professionally within the local community and hospitality industry.
What We're Looking For
- Hotel sales experience preferred.
- Hilton experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to generate new business and achieve revenue goals.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
