Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Perform detailed floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to keep all surfaces spotless and safe for guests and staff
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, elevators, and stairwells to ensure a consistently welcoming environment
- Handle laundry duties efficiently by collecting, sorting, washing, folding, and storing linens and towels in accordance with hotel procedures
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, linens, and minibar items to ensure guest needs are met promptly and accurately
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently during all cleaning activities to protect yourself and others from hazards
- Support the housekeeping management team with special projects or deep cleaning tasks as needed to maintain overall facility excellence
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services is highly desirable; hotel or hospitality experience is a strong plus
- Demonstrated ability in floor care techniques including mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and supplies to perform efficient cleaning routines
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a positive attitude
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions comfortably
- Familiarity with hospitality or housekeeping management practices is advantageous
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
