DELVE DEEPER INTO THIS JOB
The typical schedule for this nursing position is 7 am -3 pm, 3 pm - 11 pm, or 11 pm - 7 am. While working part-time hours, you work 2-4 days per week, with a minimum of 8 hours per day.
As a Certified Nursing Assistant - GNA, your primary role involves assisting residents with their daily activities. You help with tasks like feeding and dressing. Additionally, you promptly answer call bells and aid in bathing routines. In this position, you provide care across various needs, from short-term rehab to dementia and memory care. At Homewood Retirement Centers, you have the chance to be cross-trained to work effectively in all units, expanding your skills and experience in the home healthcare field.
