Job Summary:
As a part of the Hagerstown Nursing and Rehab team, our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to our patients. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled GNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to join our team in Hagerstown, MD. As a GNA, you will work closely with our nursing staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our residents.
Responsibilities:
Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Provide basic care, including toileting, incontinence care, and vital sign monitoring
Assist with medication administration, as directed by licensed nursing staff
Document patient care activities and vital signs in accordance with facility policies
Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for patients
Requirements:
Graduate of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant program
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Maryland
Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients with mobility impairments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
