In this rewarding role, you will work one-on-one with clients in their homes, providing non-medical care and companionship that allows them to age safely and comfortably in place.
Senior Caregiver
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide medication reminders and assistance with ambulation
- Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community activities
- Observe and report changes in client condition to the office
- CNA, PCA, HHA certification preferred, or at least 5 years of professional caregiving experience
- Experience caring for seniors or individuals with chronic conditions preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance if transporting clients
- Current TB test (or willingness to obtain one)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Physically able to perform the duties of the position
