Home Care Aide

Location: Driftwood, TX

Pay: $16–$18 per hour

Schedule: Full Time and Part Time Shifts

Position Summary

NOTE - This position is in Driftwood, Texas

Homewatch CareGivers of Southwest Austin is seeking experienced caregivers to provide high-quality, non-medical in-home care to seniors and adults. This position is ideal for compassionate professionals who value reliability, respect, and person-centered care in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Support clients with mobility and daily routines
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with errands and transportation to appointments
• Deliver Alzheimer’s and Dementia care support as needed

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• Minimum of one (1) year of professional caregiving experience
• Experience providing personal care to seniors or adults
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor
• Willingness to travel up to 40 minutes to client locations
• Ability to follow care plans and health and safety protocols
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including some weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care experience
• CNA certification
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
