Current Openings:

Certified Caregivers and/or Experienced Caregivers (with or without certification), including any of the following:

• Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) licensed in Massachusetts
• Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) with documentation
• Personal Care Homemakers from the free Massachusetts PHCAST program: https://mahomecaretraining.org/
• Uncertified Caregivers with hands-on experience assisting clients with mobility, personal hygiene tasks, etc.

Job duties:

• Supporting clients in maintaining their independence and comfort at home
• Assisting with hands-on personal care including bathing, continence care (toileting, changing, perineal care, etc), ambulation/mobility, etc.
• Providing companionship and friendly conversation
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Planning and preparting meals
• Giving reminders/cueing to take medication, complete PT/OT exercises, or other tasks
• Observing, documenting, and reporting any changes in client needs or routines
• Some clients may need transportation to errands, shopping, or appointments or caregivers who can run errands on their behalf

Qualifications

• 18 years old (21 if providing transportation services as well)
• Valid driver’s license, motor vehicle insurance (you must be listed as a driver), and a reliable vehicle with proof of passed inspection.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience assisting with personal hygiene tasks, ambulation/mobility, etc. that is verifiable through work experience or certification
• Compassionate, professional, and dependable
• Good communication and time management skills
• Satisfactory CORI and background check
• Verifiable references
