Role Overview:

As a Direct Support Professional at Homewatch CareGivers, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and seniors in their daily lives. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our caregiving team to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality of care while maintaining their dignity, independence, and safety. Whether you work on-site in Gallipolis, Ohio, you’ll have the flexibility to accommodate various schedules as our services operate every day of the week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care needs.
• Implement personalized care plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Monitor the well-being of clients and report any changes to supervisory staff.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings to continuously improve care delivery.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

• Compassion and a genuine desire to support individuals in need.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Prior experience in a caregiving or support role is a plus.
• Basic understanding of health and safety standards in caregiving.

Bonus If You:

• Hold a valid CPR/First Aid certification.
• Have experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Able to communicate in another language to assist a diverse clientele.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time with availability from Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site in Gallipolis, Ohio.
