Role Overview:

As a Direct Support Professional at Homewatch CareGivers, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as seniors. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality of services and support that preserve their dignity and independence. Whether you work on-site, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate support to clients in their daily activities and personal care.
• Assist clients with meal preparation, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments.
• Implement and follow personalized care plans developed in conjunction with healthcare professionals.
• Maintain clear and thorough documentation of client progress and any changes in condition.
• Collaborate with co-workers to ensure a supportive and safe environment for clients.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in healthcare or related fields is a plus.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or seniors is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a dedication to improving client wellbeing.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Bonus If You:

• Have a valid CPR and First Aid certification.
• Are proficient in a second language that may benefit our diverse client base.
• Have completed any other relevant certifications in caregiving or support services.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available for both Full-Time and Part-Time schedules, including Monday through Sunday shifts.

Location:

This position is located in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and is on-site only.
