Role Overview:
As a Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers of Folsom, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and reliable in-home care that supports our clients' independence, dignity, and quality of life. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to deliver family-centered care that aligns with our core values of Compassion, Integrity & Reliability, and Family Centered Care. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to our supportive and family-oriented working environment while receiving ongoing training and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable caregiver to support a warm and engaging senior client with Down syndrome. This is a meaningful opportunity to build a genuine connection while providing supportive, person-centered care in a home setting.

Our ideal caregiver is patient, kind, and enjoys creating structure, consistency, and positive daily experiences for the individuals they serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care and hygiene
- Providing companionship and engaging in meaningful activities
- Supporting daily routines and maintaining a structured environment
- Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Encouraging independence while offering appropriate guidance and support
- Communicating effectively with the client, family, and care team
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- Experience supporting seniors and/or individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (including Down syndrome)
- Patient, dependable, and emotionally intuitive
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow a care plan while adapting to the client’s needs
- Current caregiver certification (if applicable), or willingness to obtain
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit reliability and integrity in all interactions.
Employment Type & Availability:
This schedule is Monday-Friday.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 6am-2pm.
Tuesday and Thursday: 6am-10am.
Total numbers are hours per week are 32.

Our office is located in Fair Oaks, CA, and we proudly serve clients in Fair Oaks and the surrounding areas, including Orangevale, Folsom, Granite Bay, and nearby communities.
