RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation, activities, and social engagement.
- Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks, including tidying, laundry, and organizing.
- Accompany clients on errands, appointments, outings, and social activities.
- Prepare and serve light meals and snacks, respecting dietary preferences.
- Assist with correspondence, reading, and recreational activities.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's mood or condition to the care team.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Warm, patient, and empathetic personality with genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Norwalk/Fairfield County area.
- Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a background check.
- Basic proficiency with mobile devices and communication apps.
- No prior caregiving certification required — experience is a plus.
