Property Evaluation Specialist

Hometown Property Management, Lacey, WA

Job Type: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

Pay: $3,300.00 – $3,700.00 per month

Hometown Property Management is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, customer focused individual to join our team. We provide experienced, professional leasing and property management services to residential property owners and home renters in Thurston County and surrounding areas. This position requires an enthusiastic skilled problem solver with extensive attention to detail and great communication skills. The Property Evaluation Specialist spends time in the office and at the homes under management, they perform various property inspections, review current condition of the property to prior condition, communicate with homeowners to ensure turnover work is completed quickly and efficiently, and post notices, in addition to other tasks. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command of the company’s policies and be well trained in our procedures which are critical for success.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to;

  • Performing various types of property evaluations, interior and exterior
  • Determining and documenting the condition of homes
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every contact
  • Update client information in the client service database during and after each contact
  • Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any change in company policies
  • Assisting property owners, tenants, and fellow employees with questions and concerns
  • Gathering information from others to complete assigned tasks
  • Track and meet legally imposed, rigid deadlines
  • Communicating with property owners and tenants
  • Being part of the on-call rotation for night/weekend/holiday emergencies
  • Posting property notices

A qualified candidate will have;

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Keyboarding, with accuracy, 40 words per minute
  • Experience with cloud based information systems
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous with clients at all times
  • Must be available to work occasional nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Have a clean driving record
  • Have a reliable vehicle for getting to and from multiple properties per day
  • Ability to work outdoors
  • Knowledge of the local area
  • Proficient in operating navigational tools
