About the Role
Hometown Markets is hiring Store Clerks to support daily operations across our Owosso locations. This position focuses on customer service, stocking, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Store Clerks play a key role in keeping the store running smoothly while providing a positive experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with purchases and questions
- Operate the register and handle transactions accurately
- Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise displays
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the store
- Monitor inventory levels and rotate products
- Support team members with daily store tasks
Qualifications
- Dependable and punctual

Schedule Options
- Afternoon shifts typically 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Evening shifts typically 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Overnight shifts typically 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Overnight shifts are staffed with at least two team members on duty, so associates are never working overnight alone.
Weekend availability may be required
Work Environment
- This role requires standing, walking, stocking merchandise, and assisting customers throughout the shift.
