About the Role
Hometown Markets is seeking dependable Cashiers to support afternoon and overnight operations. This role provides customer service, transaction support, and general store maintenance to ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide professional service
- Operate the register and process cash, credit, and digital payments
- Stock shelves, coolers, and front-of-store merchandise
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization
- Assist with food preparation, coffee stations, and daily tasks
- Follow safety and company procedures
- Support team members to ensure smooth operations
Overnight team members work alongside another associate during shifts.
Qualifications
- Dependable and punctual
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to remain active throughout the shift
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Willingness to learn (no prior experience required; training provided)
Schedule Options
Afternoon Shifts:
- 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Overnight Shifts:
- 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
- 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Weekend availability may be required.
