At Hometown Insurance Agency, we pride ourselves on delivering reliable, personalized protection through a client-first approach. We’re seeking a Personal Lines Account Representative who is detail-oriented, dependable, and dedicated to building lasting relationships.
Essential Duties:
- Manage an assigned book of Personal Lines clients with professionalism, accuracy, and care.
- Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or mail promptly and courteously.
- Process policy changes, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations according to established workflows.
- Review coverages, exposures, and renewal options; recommend solutions that best meet client needs.
- Market and remarket accounts with in-house and brokerage markets as needed.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in the agency management system (Applied Epic).
- Support retention through proactive communication, education, and follow-up.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment and uphold agency service standards.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development supported by the agency.
Qualifications:
- Active NYS Property & Casualty License required.
- Minimum 2–3 years of Personal Lines insurance experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems.
- Natural commitment to client service, reliability, and quality work.
