Dental Hygienist | Hometown Dental
Location: Charles City or New Hampton, Iowa
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, with no Fridays or weekends
Pay: $45–$55 per hour, plus an $800–$1,000 monthly bonus opportunity
Sign-on bonus: $5,000
Hometown Dental is looking for a dental hygienist who wants to provide excellent care and be part of a team that works hard for its patients and each other. We are a locally owned practice with offices in Charles City and New Hampton. We want our hygienists to have the time, support, and clinical judgment to do their work well.
What you’ll do
- Provide preventive and periodontal hygiene care within your scope of practice.
- Review medical histories, assess patients’ oral health, take appropriate radiographs, and document findings and treatment.
- Educate patients in a clear, practical way about their oral health and recommended care.
- Work closely with the doctors, assistants, and front desk team to keep patient care coordinated.
- Maintain accurate records in Open Dental and follow our infection control and patient privacy procedures.
What we’re looking for
- An active Iowa dental hygiene license.
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to thorough, compassionate care.
- Clear communication with patients and teammates.
- Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to contribute to a supportive office environment.
What we offer
- A consistent three and a half to four-day workweek, Monday through Thursday.
