Role Overview
As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll handle a wide range of personal banking services, including opening new accounts, assisting customers with inquiries, and addressing problem accounts. You will play a key role in developing strong customer relationships while ensuring all banking activities comply with bank policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with account problems, including reconcilement and research.
- Cross-sell additional bank services to enhance customer banking experience.
- Act as a liaison between the customer and the bank, fostering strong relationships.
- Prepare follow-up letters and thank you cards for new accounts to maintain customer engagement.
- Stay informed on economic, governmental, and community matters to better engage with customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience in personal banking or financial services (preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems effectively
- Knowledge of bank products and services
Work Environment: This is a fully in-person position based at our Shakopee branch location.
Pay: $18 – 23 / hour
