Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Manage cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) transactions efficiently using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, accurately processing orders and payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially during busy nightclub or banquet events, while managing multiple tables or bar stations effectively through excellent time management.
• Restock supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and utensils to ensure smooth service flow.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, particularly within fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle challenging situations professionally.
• Demonstrated ability in serving alcohol responsibly while understanding food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods without sacrificing quality.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and restaurant experience for understanding service flow.
• Knowledge of brewing processes or beverage crafting techniques is a plus for enhancing guest experiences in the food industry.
